Alabama: Alabama’s proposed hemp THC rules, introduced by the Alabama Beverage Control Board following the passage of HB 445, were created to regulate the state’s growing hemp industry. The rules aim to limit smokable products, set potency caps for edibles and beverages, require child-resistant packaging, ban marketing aimed at minors, and enforce strict record-keeping for licensed retailers.
These measures are designed to ensure public safety while providing clear standards for hemp-derived THC products.
