Kentucky: Kentucky is holding it’s medical marijuana dispensary lottery in two parts, the first of which happened on Monday. During that lottery, 36 applicants were awarded licenses. The next lottery, which will include Louisville and Lexington, is Dec. 16. It will be streamed on the Office of Medical Cannabis’ YouTube Channel.

Nebraska: A pending court challenge and separate ongoing investigations won’t stop Nebraska’s attorney general from certifying successful medical marijuana legalization votes.
“I see no reason sitting here today to not certify,” Attorney General Mike Hilgers said Tuesday, according to the Nebraska Examiner. “We know the judge will look at all the arguments and the facts carefully, and so we’ll wait for a ruling.”

New Hampshire: The prospects of New Hampshire lawmakers approving an adult-use cannabis market look dim under newly elected Republican Gov. Kelly Ayotte.
Political watchers in the state expect the state’s House of Representatives to once again advance a bill legalizing recreational marijuana in the 2025 session, buy Ayotte continues to publicly oppose any efforts along those lines, according to the Portsmouth Herald.

Utah: The group that controls licensing for medical marijuana pharmacies in Utah wants the state Legislature to issue four additional licenses. One license would go to the Moab area. Another to the area that includes Davis, Weber and Morgan Counties. One for the central part of the state and the fourth license would go to Duchesne or Uintah County.
