Medical marijuana dispensaries in Arizona have seen a huge increase in demand in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic during the past few weeks.
 
While dispensaries are considered an essential service and have promised to stay open for medical marijuana patients, demand is well above typical levels…………….
 
………. Sara Gullickson, CEO of the newly created Cannaboss Advisors in Scottsdale, said she sees other medical marijuana dispensaries getting creative in ensuring the safety of patients and employees.
 
“Having people come into the facility is really risky,” she said. “I wouldn’t want that on my plate as a business owner.”
 
Much of the sanitizing efforts are common sense, she said. “A lot of our clients have disaster preparedness plans, but none of us could have anticipated something like this,” she said.
